The Press Club Serving The Philadelphia Suburbs will host Chris Blackman, Vice President of News at NBC 10, as the guest speaker at its monthly luncheon 12 noon Wed. (Nov. 16) at The Cove Restaurant, Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack.

Special guests will also include Vince and Janet Papale who will speak about their new book, Be Invincible!. In 2006, Vince Papale shot to international stardom as the subject of the Disney hit movie “Invincible,” which told the story of his rise from teacher and bartender to 30 year old Philadelphia Eagles rookie and eventual special teams captain. Now, he and his wife, Janet, a former world class gymnast whose own background uniquely mirrors his, are unveiling the secrets of their success to reaching one’s true potential in their new book.

The Papales will sign copies of their books of which a portion of sales will go to Wounded Warriors.

During the luncheon, the Press Club will also have its Annual Salute To Veterans program when it honors all press club members who have served in the military.

Guy Fizzano, president of the Veterans Memorial Association in Newtown Square, will give an update on the Memorial’s construction and editors of the Delaware County News Network will hand out copies of its fresh-off-the-press Veterans Book to all attendees. Local dignitaries are also expected to attend.
