"I cherish friendships made through the Press Club. It's been a special part of my life since my first meeting at It's About Thyme in Media, when a belly dancer performed (hey, it's a form of communication, right?!).

Being membership chair, treasurer, vice president and president gave me a unique perspective on the club and the importance of its many dedicated members. My memories are many, but one that stands out is the relief (and gratitude!) felt when we reached one of our goals: the full endowment of the Crist Memorial Scholarship at DCCC."

Welcome to the Delaware County Press Club!

The Delaware County Press Club has been a source of professional camaraderie for me for almost 15 years.  After starting my consulting business so that I could have a flexible schedule for my family, I began to miss the creative collaboration and interaction that I previously had with my co-workers. I decided to attend a Press Club luncheon so that I could get out and meet like-minded professionals.  I found the group welcoming, the speakers entertaining, and media topics informative.  I was hooked.

The Press Club has been a leader and valuable resource for journalists, broadcasters, writers, and marketing professionals since 1979.  As I begin my presidency, I look forward to growing Press Club membership and strengthening our position in the region.  It’s an exciting time to work in the evolving field of communications and the Board of Directors is ready to lead the club into the next 40 years!

If you’re a member, thanks for joining us! If you’re a communications professional and not a member yet, please consider attending an event to find out more about what the Delaware County Press Club can offer you.
