"I cherish friendships made through the Press Club. It's been a special part of my life since my first meeting at It's About Thyme in Media, when a belly dancer performed (hey, it's a form of communication, right?!).

Being membership chair, treasurer, vice president and president gave me a unique perspective on the club and the importance of its many dedicated members. My memories are many, but one that stands out is the relief (and gratitude!) felt when we reached one of our goals: the full endowment of the Crist Memorial Scholarship at DCCC."

 - Bette Alburger, Press Club President, 1998-2001

Welcome to the Delaware County Press Club!

COVID-19 made the 2020-2021 season of the Press Club quite different from past seasons but the Board forged ahead with a mix of virtual programs and in-person events when possible, determined to keep the Club alive and keep members connected.

As we begin the 2021-2022 season, the pandemic continues to present challenges for everyone. However difficult, the Club is committed to presenting programs, social events, and other opportunities targeted to today’s 21st century communicators.

The Press Club has been bringing communications professionals together for over 40 years and we plan on keeping it going! The Board has some exciting events in the works for the 2021-2022 season and new member benefits so we hope that you’ll join us!

If you’re a member, thank you for your continued support! If you’re a communications professional and not a member yet, please consider attending an event to find out more about what the Delaware County Press Club can offer you.
