Celebration of the Arts - Arts and Culture Meet & Greet

Join the Delaware County Press Club as they celebrate the arts in Delaware County with members of the Delaware County Arts Consortium!

Delaware County is home to a plethora of cultural and arts institutions making it a treasure for local folks and visitors alike.

Meet the organizations that pump creative energy into the County and find out more about Delco Arts Week, October 2 – 9, 2021. The week of arts for everyone features individual events presented by Arts Consortium members. Enjoy concerts, open houses, festivals, theatrical performances, art classes, exhibitions, film screenings, and more!

Program Details:

Hosted by Community Arts Center in Wallingford, CAC’s Executive Director Paul Downie will tell us a little about their historic location and the Arts Center’s events and programming.

Jennifer Hoff, Press Club member and project manager for the Delaware County Arts Consortium, will tell us all about the third annual Delco Arts Week.

Members of the press and attendees will have the opportunity to:

· Network with representatives from the many unique artistic venues and cultural experiences that Delaware County has to offer

· Get an inside look into the organizations and learn about their latest programs and productions, music projects, and exhibitions

· Find out how residents can access a wide range of art experiences during Delco Arts Week

Additionally, Delaware County Council will present a resolution to the members of the Delaware County Arts Consortium in recognition of the work they have done to promote the arts in Delaware County.

There may even be a live performance or two during the event.

Admission includes a buffet of pre-packaged sliders, appetizers, desserts, wine, and beer.

Attendees are asked to wear masks at the event when not eating or drinking.

Please consider bringing a new book or two for students in grades K through eighth for the Press Club’s Book Drive.

Join us at Community Arts Center on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5 – 7 p.m.
