Season-Closing Lunch with Journalist & Writer Lisa DePaolo

Lisa DePaolo, a long time Philadelphia Magazine writer with a distinguished national career, will be the special guest at the season-closing meeting of the Delaware County Press Club at La Locanda Ristorante, 4989 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, on Wednesday, May 13.

DePaolo has had her work featured in such publications as The New York Times, George, Elle, New York Magazine, and GQ. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she interned at Philadelphia Magazine and began her career there after graduation. She remained a feature writer there for more than 10 years.

DePaolo left Philadelphia in 1998 following an offer from John F. Kennedy, Jr. for a writing position at his magazine, George. When that publication folded after Kennedy’s death, she stayed in New York, continuing to write feature stories for various national magazines.
