The Delaware County Press Club will host a luncheon with guest speaker Susan Noles, a “The Golden Bachelor” alum, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Luigi and Giovanni’s Café at Ellis Preserve, 3801 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square.
Noles, an Aston resident, is a longtime hair and make up artist who embarked on a journey to find her forever love on the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelor.” The show, a romantic reality competition series created for ABC, focused on a senior male courting female contestants to find a new partner to marry. Noles’ outgoing personality made her a fan favorite and has prompted requests for her to be the first “Golden Bachelorette.”
Noles will talk about her experience on the unscripted series, her role officiating Golden Bachelor Gerry and Theresa Nist’s wedding on live TV, and her new podcast, “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour,” with fellow “The Golden Bachelor” contestant Kathy Swarts.
She will take questions following her remarks.
Press Club events are open to the public. The cost for the buffet luncheon program is $35 for members and $40 for guests and walk-ins. As a courtesy to the venue, reservations are recommended but guests may also pay by cash, check, or credit card at the door.
Networking and check in begins at 11:30 a.m.

Since the development at Ellis Preserve is quite large and Luigi & Giovanni's Cafe at Ellis Preserve IS NOT visible from the street, here are detailed directions to help get you there: When traveling on West Chester Pike from Upper Darby towards West Chester, you'll pass the Ellis Preserve Main Line Health building on your right. Once past MLH, turn right at the light into the Ellis Preserve parking lot entrance which is across from CVS/Uno Pizza.You'll see SAP on your left. Follow the entrance around to parking lot area 3801. Turn right into lot 3801 and go straight through the lot until the end. Luigi & Giovanni's Cafe at Ellis Preserve will be in front of you on the right. There is a patio with a grill and shrubs around it.
