About Williamson College of the Trades
Founded on December 1, 1888, by Philadelphia merchant and philanthropist Isaiah Vansant Williamson, Williamson College of the Trades is a private men’s junior vocational college in Media.
Each year approximately 100 students are offered admission. Admission is open to all qualifying young men, but special consideration is given to those who come from families of financial need and would otherwise not be able to further their education. Through scholarships and grants, William’s tuition, room, and boarding are at no cost to the student; making the college unique in the nation.
