The Press Club celebrates the conclusion of a successful season with a Happy Hour event at the Crystal Room at The Media Theatre on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 4 – 7p.m. The Happy Hour ticket price includes live music entertainment by the Woodland String Band, finger foods, and a cash bar.

The Press Club celebrates the conclusion of a successful season with a Happy Hour event at the Crystal Room at The Media Theatre on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 4 – 7p.m. The Happy Hour ticket price includes live music entertainment by the Woodland String Band, finger foods, and a cash bar.
The Happy Hour features a tribute to Barbara Ormsby, founder of the Delaware County Press Club, on her retirement after 64 years of covering local news. She’s written for the Delaware County Daily and Sunday Times, Town Talk, KYW News Radio, The Spirit, and a number of other publications and news outlets.
The end-of-season event will also include a brief overview of the Club’s 2023-2024 season; recognition of the outgoing Board members; announcement and introduction of the four recipients of the Club’s endowed scholarships at Penn State University, Temple University, and Delaware County Community College; and presentation of…
