Updated: Nov 25, 2021

The Delaware County Press Club in partnership with the Southeast Delco and William Penn School Districts announces a children’s literacy book drive.

The Press Club is coordinating a book drive to benefit students in area schools. Donation bins for new books of varying genres and topics for students in grades K through eighth are located at selected drop-off locations throughout the County including Vinyl Revival, 35-37 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Lansdowne, Echo Hill Farm, 1357 Westtown Thornton Rd. West Chester, Delaware County Bar Association, 335 W. Front St., Media, Valley View Golf, 4600 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, and at Press Club events through the end of the 2021-2022 season.

“Press Club Board Member Anne Neborak came up with the idea to organize a book drive for local students," said Press Club President Andrea DiFabio. "Since the Club is an organization of working and retired professionals in the fields of communications, it seemed like a great fit for us! We hope that the book distribution will foster a love of reading for many of the students.”

Collected books will be delivered to the School Districts in June 2022.

Anyone interested in donating can email the Press Club at info@delcopressclub.org.
